UPON HER SHOULDERS

I created, "Upon Her Shoulders," in honor of all women across the ages whose resilient strength has shouldered countless burdens of gender injustices and indignities from the societies in which there were raised. While forced to maintain an appearance of beauty and grace, these women's delicate appearances belied their phenomenal inner strength and emotional reserves to endure, and ultimately, overcome these social disparities.
